Blizzard on the link between Wrath of the Lich King and the Fury of the Sunwell
"Over at the World of Warcraft forums, Shimarenda from the Cenarion Circle quoted lines from an interview of Tom Chilton and GameSpy. The quote pointed out that Chilton and the design team got their feedback from pretty popular and well respected players in the arena community. Chilton added that one of their class designers is actually the guild leader of one of the most well-known PvP guilds in the world. Regarding this matter, Shimarenda's wondered if there's a possibility that Chilton could develop some contact in the role-playing community, which make a big chunk of the MMORPGs population. As for the developments being addressed by the developers, Blizzard representative said, ""There isn't a lot I can say right now, but we do plan to continue developing things that are for role playing."" Well, it isn't that much. But there's still something that role-players can look forward to in the future, like our daily updates on the game. Be sure to check up on our site for that. Blizzard on the link between Wrath of the Lich King and the Fury of the Sunwell Seeing links and patterns between various things can be an enlightening experience. Speaking of which, did you know that there is a connection between the Fury of the Sunwell update, World of Warcraft lore, and the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. J.

J. wowgold.fr">wow fr Allen Brack and Chris Robinson of Blizzard talked a little bit about it in a recent interview. According to Brack and Robinson, the Fury of the Sunwell is all about giving closure to the major story arcs of The Burning Crusade. These involve the new races that Blizzard introduced in TBC - the Blood Elves and the Draenei, as well as the dark triumvirate of Illidan, Lady Vashj, and Kael'thas Sunstrider. gold wow Brack and Robinson also admitted to having picked up a few lessons from The Burning Crusade - lessons which will bear fruit in Wrath of the Lich King.
For one thing, they lamented the main bad guys' previous lack of visibility, so WoW players will find themselves at odds with Arthas from the very beginning of the next expansion. On top of that, Blizzard will also offer players a choice of two starting areas next time around: the Borean Tundra of the Howling Fjord. wow geld Finally, Brack and Robinson also mentioned that Blizzard has learned the value of taking chances. Proof of this principle will be reflected in the next expansion's departure of the visual style of The Burning Crusade. " "Wondering what will happen to Naxxramas when Wrath of the Lich King goes live in World of Warcraft. You're not the only one. wow gold cheap You might be interested to know that Community Manager Bornakk gave out a few interesting facts regarding the dungeon, namely attunement as well as the difficulty level of the instance. Bornakk clarified that Naxxramas is supposed to be more of an entry level raid dungeon in Wrath of the Lich King and not the hardest dungeon in the game. Here's a description of how they expect the raid to run: Naxxramas is planned to be the entry-level 25 person dungeon. We do still plan to also do the type of raid dungeons like Gruul's Lair that are short shots right to the main boss. wow gold buy With regards to attunement however, the developers have not yet made a final decision on it since they are still discussing the merits of having it in the instance. Bornakk said that while they like having special quest lines available and such, they also ""like having content be more available to players."" Free character migration on select PVP servers If you think your World of Warcraft realm is getting a little bit too crowded, you might want to know that Blizzard has opened character migration once again from the highest populated PvP realms to the lowest populated servers in Europe. According to Community Manager Vaneras' post, players from Crushridge, Outland, Burning Legion, and Stormscale can now transfer to the Burning Blade, Haomarush or Dentarg.
In addition, players from Warsong can also move to Stonemaul. Like the previous offers of free migration, the option to do so may be closed at any time should the destination realm's population ""rise too high."" Landro Longshot bugged
"Having trouble trying to contact Landro Longshot to redeem your World of Warcraft Trading Card game goodies. If your problems involves having a Hated reputation with the Booty Bay faction, then you've got the same problem as player Lieandra. The player reports a bug that causes Longshot to spawn a Booty Bay Bruiser every time somebody with hated rep with Booty Bay attempts to talk to him. What's strange here is that Longshot doesn't have any connection with the Steamwheedle Cartel, the guys running Booty Bay. The good news is that Blizzard has already caught wind of this bug, and that fixes have already been implemented. As Hortus explained in a follow-up post: The changes to guard spawns have been made. As I said before you will still have to deal with the guards but it should be easier now. I've found that if you stand behind Landro it should be possible to speak with him without too much difficulty. Being a Bloodsail Buccaneer is not meant to be easy. Dealing with the Booty Bay guards is the price you pay for the second coolest hat in the game (mine being the coolest). Hortus' headgear, in case you're wondering, is a Gnomish Mind Control Cap. Just keep the mod's advise in mind the next time you try to redeem your high-level loot over at Booty Bay. Stick around in case we receive word of any related updates. " "As Hortus' old signature used to say, ""Random does not mean fair."" Player Dotsofdeath reports over at the World of Warcraft forums that there seems to be a bug with regards to the Transmute sub-skill for the Alchemy profession. As the player explained, he had been having no luck getting procs over the time he attempted to transmute certain materials (skyfire, earthstorms, etc.), and that other players were reporting similar problems.
Blizzard representative Hortus dropped by the WoW Forums to explain that it's not a bug: We've verified that tradeskills are procing correctly. The nature of random chance and very large numbers means that sometimes somewhere some people will have long streaks without procs, and sometimes somewhere some people will have several procs in a row. To put it simply: It's just a matter of bad luck. If you happen to be among those having the same problems as Dotsofdeath, cheer up. After all, it may just be a matter of time before you start cashing in on those ""procs in a row"" that Hortus speaks of. Drop by again in case we run into any more related reports. World of Warcraft Tournament Realms go down
"If you were having a hard time connecting to Blizzard's World of Warcraft Tournament Realm, it's because the servers were recently shut down for some urgent maintenance. You shouldn't have any problems with it now though since the realm is up and running Community Manager Bornakk has announced that they will be providing updates in case any more issues come up. Unfortunately, he failed to give any details on the specific problems which prompted the developers to shut down the realms. Furthermore, Bornakk's post seems to hint that users may still encounter a few more problems while accessing the realm. We're going to be keeping an eye out for any updates regarding this issue, still, we're hoping that whatever caused the developers to take down the realms has already been resolved so WoW players can play without any interruptions. WoW Wallpaper: Mias the Putrid We all know too much computer exposure is bad for your eyes. Now if you really can't take your self away from World of Warcraft, why not try the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. Even Blizzard wants you to. In fact, the latest official wallpaper to come out for Warcraft features Mias the Putrid - a visual treat using artwork from the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. Blizzard partnered with Upper Deck to bring us this card game where you can still immerse yourself in the lore of your favorite massively multiplayer online game without even connecting to the Internet. Over at the official website, Blizzard provides more WoWTCG art wallpapers and even a demo deck. If you still need a little persuasion about the game, we recommend you visit QJ.NET's primer on World of Warcraft Trading Card Game. Everything you need to know to get started is in here. More updates as we get them. " "About a month ago, Dr.
Tanya Byron made headlines regarding her review on video game violence. Now, she's has taken the spotlight once again with a BBC TV show she wrote and hosted. Through it, she linked video game to heroin addiction. wow gold kaufen In her show, Byron delved deeper to the world of gaming by talking about several situations gamers are in. She went as far as to compare playing video games to cocaine or even heroin addiction. One of her interviewees was Michelle Hart, a 39-year-old World of Warcraft addict. wow gold cheapest Hart said she's been playing the MMORPG for two years and spends most of her free time playing it. With her situation, Byron commented, ""It might seem ludicrous to compare a childish computer fantasy game with hard drug addiction. But addiction counselors offering treatment to gamers argue that there are key similarities in the way that the consumer gets hooked into coming back for more."" Aside from Hart, Stephen Noel-Hill was another interviewee by Byron. lotro gold Noel-Hill was revealed to be a recovering gaming addict. He was able to establish a recovery clinic in Amsterdam which welcomed game addicts. Noel-Hill believed that ""computer gaming has become an addiction every bit as pernicious as more conventional drugs."" Before ending the show, Byron stressed the fact the video games could cause harm to those who are addicted to it. gold wow She said: If we combine the pleasurable aspects of gaming or gambling with an individual who has other psychological or emotional needs, it become more obvious how this behavior can become addictive. if you guys have something to share regarding the latest work of Tanya Byron, feel free to comment using the space below." "In the lore of World of Warcraft MMORPG, Gruul the Dragonkiller is probably the most popular known Gronn around.
And everybody familiar with WoW knows the Gronns are considered to be immortal demi-gods of the Ogre race. Gruul, for those of you who are yet to encounter him, is the final boss of the raid dungeon Gruul's Lair in the Blade's Edge Mountains. wow powerleveling Out of curiosity or even sheer terror perhaps, some players in the official World of Warcraft Forums are wondering how exactly does Gruul, or the whole Gronn race for that matter, is able to defeat dragons. While Gronns are very powerful beings, they are not exactly known for range attacks.

Arena Tournament second qualifiers date still TBA
"Apparently, there's been confusion as to when the second qualifying rounds for World of Warcraft's arena tournaments will be taking place. The matter was brought up specifically by player Kobk, who was speaking for a friend. According to Kobk, there seemed to be conflicts with the dates for the second qualifier, and the date for the tourney's final phase: ""Phase 3 – The Final Phase – Active from May 6, 2008 to May 20, 2008"" When I first saw this I was disoriented, because the live event is June 28th-29th, where the world finals for the 3v3 tournament were supposed to be held. So I looked for exact dates on the second round, and found this in the restrictions page. The finals for this tourney ARE supposed to at the WWI correct. ""The Second Qualification Round of the Tournament shall commence on June 3, 2008 at approximately 11:00 AM Pacific Standard Time ( 6:00 PM GMT) (subject to 'Server Maintenance' to be performed by Sponsor) and end on July 15, 2008 at 2:00 AM"" So, when are the second qualifiers really going to kick in. Bornakk passed by the thread to clarify that Blizzard will be releasing exact dates for the WoW arena's Phase Two soon. The moderator further notes that they also have yet to make any announcements regarding the time and venue for the regional qualifiers. What this may mean is that the previous dates that were set by the devs are outdated. We advise the readers to keep checking QJ or Blizzard's Arena Tournament Forums in the event that more information regarding this matter is found. The9, Blizzard to bring Wrath of the Lich King to mainland China This latest expansion is definitely oozing with awesome features. You guys can get to experience the Death Knight, the first Hero class. Aside from this, the level cap has been increased to 80. Furthermore, players will get to take part in epic siege warfare throughout the game.
Also, you can fully customize the look of characters with it, as well as venture into new dungeons such as the Utgarde Keep. Having said what's in store in the months ahead, these tidbits of information should make you guys jump for joy. wow europe Don't forget to come back to this space for more exciting news and useful updates on the game. " " It's standard operating procedure for MMORPG servers to go down periodically for maintenance. Blizzard's World of Warcraft servers aren't exempted from this. What player Shinyee wanted to know, however, was whether the Tournament Realm servers would be going down with the rest of the regular servers for maintenance today. For some reason, WoW player Shinyee needed to know before the end of last night. wow gold kauf The player even requested for a quick response. Fortunately, Blizzard blue poster Bornakk obliged Shinyee with the following statement: ""When all realms go down for maintenance, the Tournament Realms will as well."" Considering how Blizzard mentioned that the Tournament Realms were stable, it makes sense that the company would take steps to keep them that way. It is curious for some players of World of Warcraft that Blizzard has decided to give Elven Druids both poison spells Cure Poison and Abolish Poison, while leaving Tauren Druids with just the latter one. gold wow Clearly, this looks to be a bug. Blizzard community manager Bornakk was patrolling the forums at that time and clarified the issue with other players. After other players confirmed the issue, Bornakk immediately filed a report with the developers. While the representative was quick to respond, we regret to inform you that the solution will not come anytime soon. cheap world of warcraft gold " "There have been a number of players who complained about the art used on the new badge items in Blizzard's World of Warcraft.
Community Manager Nethaera answered these concerns from the players on the MMORPG's official forums. She started off by reminding players to be a little more tactful with their complaints and to give specific examples of what they don't like about the current system. After that, she explained how the developers came up with the designs: The new badge rewards (for Fury of the Sunwell) were designed to fit in with the theme of the Blood Elves just as the Zul'Aman gear fits in with the theme of Zul'Aman. wowgold It is pretty much impossible for Blizzard to please everyone when it comes to certain design decisions such as art used in the game since beauty is subjective. This blogger feels that they're doing a pretty good job on this, and he's pretty sure that there are others out there that feel the same way. What do you think.
